Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a section with high standards, supporting the Head chef/Sous chef and guiding junior staff. You will train promptly and ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing, and employment law while maintaining top quality, fresh cooking on site.

We own boutique pubs across Southern England, offering a friendly, hands-on team environment with opportunities to grow through our development pathway and strong employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership.
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen

• To complete all training in a timely manner
• To comply with the statutory requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them
