The Role:

  • Contribute to food production under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef
  • Be aware of the day’s reservations and outside events impacting the business
  • Familiarize with the menu and daily specials
  • Prepare dishes promptly and to standard
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation
  • Manage wastage, portion control, and cost-efficiency
  • Follow food hygiene practices and HACCP compliance
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines
  • Be energy and cost conscious to deliver savings
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and report issues
  • Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff
