In January 2024, we acquired the 17th century Barnsley House hotel, nestled in the quintessential Cotswold village of Barnsley, just four miles from Cirencester. THE PIG in the Cotswolds offers guests a classic English country garden experience that evolves with the seasons, including a kitchen garden supplying the ingredients for our 25-mile menu. The Village Pub will bring together hotel guests and locals, serving nostalgic classics that evoke comfort and home-cooked familiarity.

We are recruiting Chef de Parties to join our hotel or pub brigade.

The Role:

As Chef de Partie, you will work across all kitchen sections, adhering to timescales and ensuring the quality of food preparation and delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking a proactive approach to all tasks assigned by the Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef.
  • Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines.
  • Preparing and cooking meat, fish, vegetables, including hot & cold starters and mains.
  • Supporting the pastry section as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

Our kitchens are fast-paced and energetic. Bring enthusiasm, your knives, and passion, and we will help you develop your skills. Experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar setting is required.
