Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the Energy contract, delivering high-quality food across client sites. This full-time role (33.75 hours/week) operates on a 9-day fortnight with occasional Friday off.

Ideal candidates hold a Food Hygiene certificate and City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, with experience supervising a team in a similar chef role. Flexible working is required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting with creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

Job Introduction

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef de Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences for Energy on a full time basis contracted to 33.75 hours per week.

Contract works a 9 day fortnight pattern. Alternative Fridays are a non working day.

As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK.
