Job summary

Compass Group UK in the Defence sector is recruiting a Chef de Partie to support high-quality meal production on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). You will prepare meals, help manage menus, and drive improvements while upholding strict hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Possess a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team in a catering environment.
• Experience in a similar Chef role is preferred.
• Flexible approach to working hours and duties.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting with creation of new menus and creative concepts.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef de Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences for Defence on a full time basis contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities willinclude:
