Job summary

Haven is seeking a Chef to join our kitchen team at JD Wetherspoon venue. This full-time seasonal role offers £13.71 per hour and onsite accommodation if needed, subject to availability. You will deliver high-quality meals from our all-day menu, ensuring flavour, presentation and consistency for guests.

As a Chef, you’ll work with a supportive team, follow food safety standards, and help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Chef role (e.g. Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or Sous Chef).
• Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Enthusiastic team player with a love for food and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals to specification.
• Collaborate with a supportive kitchen team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
