Compass Group UK&I seeks a dedicated Chef/Cook on a zero hours contract for Defence operations in the UK. You will prepare high-quality meals, adapt menus, and help drive service improvements while upholding brand standards and food safety.

You will work within a dynamic team, supervising activities and contributing to menu creativity, with flexible shifts and on-site duties across Defence sites. A passion for great food and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Have a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.

• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Chef/Cook (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week. As a Chef/Cook (Zero Hours), you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work.
