Job summary

Mitchells & Butler’s PLC is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in our kitchens across the United Kingdom. You will train on the job, learning to prepare, cook and present food to brand standards while working under experienced chefs.

This full-time apprenticeship lasts 15 months with in-work training, a recognised qualification, and opportunities to lead and support kitchen operations. You will gain practical skills and industry experience in a supportive team environment.

• Willingness to learn and a passion for cooking.
• Teamwork and communication within a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the entire team to ensure delivery of outstanding food and service.
• Participate and contribute to team meetings, offering insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
