Job summary

Loungers, at Valero Lounge in Witham, is recruiting Chefs to join a busy kitchen team. You’ll cook to spec, assist the Head Chef, and help maintain high standards from prep to plate.

The role offers hourly pay with tips and flexible contracts, ideal for part-time, full-time, or flexible work arrangements. Includes staff meals, 50% food & drinks discount from day one, and access to career development through our pathways and training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
• Demonstrates teamwork, reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec; from tapas dishes, to all day Lounge breakfasts
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service, and standards
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped
