As a Chef in our homes, you’ll oversee all aspects of kitchen and catering services, including managing a small team, and ensuring the highest standards of nutrition, hygiene, and safety. Occasionally, you may cater for other day centres, luncheon clubs, and community activities, with some weekend work required.
Nutrition is a key part of our care package. You’ll actively contribute to meeting residents' nutritional needs, ensuring a high-quality dining experience. Building relationships with residents and their families will help you understand and accommodate their personal preferences.

You should have experience working in a professional kitchen, catering for large groups, with knowledge of menu planning for special diets. A Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
You’ll have experience leading and motivating a team, engaging with elderly residents to understand their needs, and managing budgets and stock effectively.
