Cygnet is seeking a dedicated Chef for Oaklands in Hexham to prepare nutritious meals and support residents with complex needs. You’ll work 40 hours weekly in a 10-hour shift rota, liaising with nursing staff to meet dietary requirements and ensure kitchen cleanliness.
Ideal candidates are experienced chefs, with Dysphagia/IDDSI knowledge, a basic hygiene certificate, and strong communication skills. The role includes on-site benefits and ongoing professional supervision.

Oaklands is a specialist residential service with nursing, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in Hexham, Northumberland. The team support individuals who have additional mental or physical health needs and behaviours that may challenge.
You’ll be working full time 40 hours a week, working 10 hour shifts 8am – 6pm on a rota basis.
Please note: successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
