TipTopJob in Ewerby, Sleaford is seeking a committed Cook for a Residential Care Home. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals and ensure a high standard of service for residents, visitors, and staff.

Shifts are 8:00am–4:00pm, full-time with alternate weekends. Salary is £14.47 per hour plus incentives, with 28 days leave, pension, training opportunities, and employee support.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Catering qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
• Minimum 2 years catering experience in a busy environment.
• Experience preparing meals for a range of dietary requirements.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and health and safety.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary: A GBP 14.47 per hour + incentives

Youll be responsible for delivering a high:quality catering service for residents, visitors and staff, while ensuring meals are nutritious, varied and prepared to a high standard.

As a Care Home Cook, youll play an important part in creating a positive dining experience for residents. Food is a big part of daily life in a care setting, and youll have the opportunity to make mealtimes something residents genuinely look forward to.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

What are we looking for?

Were looking for someone who is passionate about food and understands the importance of providing excellent catering within a care environment.

Ideally, You Will Have

• A Level 3 Catering qualification , or be willing to work towards one.
• At least 2 years catering experience , ideally within a busy environment.
• Experience preparing meals for a range of dietary requirements.
• A good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety.
• Excellent organisation and time:management skills.
• A genuine passion for cooking and providing a high standard of service.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ideally, live within approximately 20 minutes of the home .
