Contract Duration: 3-6 month contract
Working Days: Monday-Friday

My client is recruiting for a Chef based within the NHS in Essex and the surrounding area.

Ideal candidates need:

1. NVQ level 2 or equivalent in catering
2. 3 GCSE or equivalent
3. NVQ or equivalent in nutrition
4. Basic qualification in food hygiene (CIEH Level 2)
5. NHS experience
6. COSH qualification

Main Duties:

1. Providing constant support to sous chef
2. Freshly prepare, cook and serve all dishes adhering strictly to recipes agreed by the head chef
3. Ensure food meets trust standards and temperature requirements for both hot and cold food in line with Hazard analysis and critical control points

As the role is NHS based, candidates will be asked to complete onboarding & compliance checks including DBS & Online training modules prior to starting.
