Job summary

Lammermuir House Care Home, located in Dunbar, East Lothian, is seeking a Chef on a part-time basis. Shift is dayshift with contracted hours of 28.5 per week, paying £14.04 per hour.

PVG clearance, pension and uniform are provided, with 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full-time contract. Great food is central to the residents' daily life, and as a Chef you will create meals that are both nutritious and tailored to dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a professional kitchen environment is essential.
• Food Hygiene certification or understanding of food safety standards is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the wider kitchen team.
• Good organisation skills with ability to manage food preparation and maintain high standards.
• Reliable, professional and hardworking approach with genuine passion for quality food preparation.
