Job summary

LED Community Leisure is seeking an experienced Chef to join the airport catering operation, delivering high-quality food across outlets. You will work with the kitchen team to maintain standards and ensure excellent food safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 / BTEC in Professional Cookery or equivalent, at least 1 year in a fast-paced kitchen, and flexibility for early shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 / BTEC in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year's experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen organisation.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Level 2 Food Safety (essential).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to brand and quality standards.
• Support daily food production across airport outlets.
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Manage stock rotation, storage and waste reduction.
• Work collaboratively within a busy kitchen environment.
• Act as a positive role model, supporting a professional and motivated team.
