Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Chef to join the team at Dreghorn Barracks, Edinburgh. You will prepare, cook and present fresh meals to high standards in a busy catering operation within a military environment.

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting fresh, high-quality meals
• Supporting breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hospitality services as required
• Ensuring food is produced in line with recipes, menus, and portion controls
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, allergen management, and kitchen cleanliness
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and deliveries
• Completing food safety records and due diligence documentation
• Supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Following all company, food safety, and health & safety procedures

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team at Dreghorn Barracks, Edinburgh, EH13 9QW. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled chef to become part of a busy catering operation, delivering high-quality meals and exceptional service within a military environment.

As a Chef, you'll play a key role in preparing and serving meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Qualifications

About you

• Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy catering environment
• Passion for food and producing high-quality meals
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Positive attitude and flexible approach to work

Additional Information

• Successful candidates will be required to obtain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance prior to commencing employment
