Lark View Care Home is seeking a Chef to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a 64-bed care setting. You will own food preparation, ensure dietary needs are met, and maintain high hygiene standards, all within a supportive team. The role offers a consistent day pattern with alternate weekends.
Benefits include paid DBS, pension, uniform, and 5.6 weeks annual leave. Minimum Level 3 in Food Preparation required, City & Guilds 706/1/706/2 or equivalent, and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Our care home has stunning views from both sides looking onto beautiful Kent countryside, and provides a cosy and homely feel for up to 64 residents - We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite Care.
Chef Contract

Role Overview
As a Chef, you will deliver high quality, nutritious and enjoyable meals that are a key part of daily life. This is a role where your cooking has real impact, bringing comfort, routine and enjoyment while supporting overall wellbeing.
You will take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring meals are tailored to individual dietary needs, preferences and nutritional requirements. Maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety, you will consistently deliver meals that residents look forward to each day.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and smooth day to day service. With no late evenings or split shifts, this role offers a strong work life balance while still allowing you to take pride in producing high quality food in a rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends, and will hold a Minimum of Level 3 in Food Preparation.
