Job summary

B&Q Stevenage is hiring a part-time Checkouts Customer Advisor on a 3-month fixed-term contract. You’ll work 18 hours weekly with shifts including 4–8:15pm on weekdays and weekend availability, at an hourly rate of £13.10 (store location allowance included).

In this on-site role you’ll greet customers, help at tills, support click & collect, set up displays, and ensure the store looks inviting. Training will be provided across areas, with a focus on delivering great service.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, eager to help customers.
• Willing to learn new technology and ways of working.
• Able to work in a team and on a rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkouts and provide great service.
• Support click & collect and setup displays to keep the store looking inviting.
• Operate tills accurately and handle transactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and product presentation.
