Job summary

Cohens Chemist in Scarborough is hiring a 35-hour Qualified Accuracy Checking Technician for a permanent role at our Belgrave Crescent branch. You will lead dispensing and checking of prescriptions, ensure high standards of customer care, and coach colleagues to deliver the same level of service.

The role requires ACT qualification and GPhC registration, a passion for pharmacy, and excellent people skills to drive business forward in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• Proof of ACT qualification and registration with the GPhC is essential.
• Lead the dispensing activities through dispensing and checking prescription items quickly and accurately.
• Maintain high standards of customer care and services throughout the branch.
• Ability to coach others in the branch to do the same.

11917 – 35-hour Qualified Accuracy Checking Technician - Permanent contract

We are looking to recruit a 35-hour Qualified Accuracy Checking Technician to work at our 479-branch located 1A Belgrave Crescent, Scarborough, YO11 1UB.

The proposed shift pattern is:

• Monday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Wednesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Thursday 09:00 -18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Friday 09:00 - 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

As a Qualified Accuracy Checking Technician you will lead the dispensing activities through dispensing and checking prescription items quickly and accurately. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of customer care and services are maintained throughout the branch.

You must be confident in building customer relationships, establishing their needs, providing friendly advice and excellent product knowledge and services. You must also have the drive and enthusiasm to want to coach others in your branch to do the same.

The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

You must have a passion for Pharmacy, in order to drive the business forward and have great people skills, as this is paramount to your role.

Proof of your ACT qualification and registration with the GPhC is essential.
