Job summary

Wavenet is seeking experienced IT Security Consultants at the CHECK Team Leader level within the Penetration Testing team. This home-based role requires leading engagements, strong client-facing skills, and a passion for security.

Expect travel to client sites and Wavenet locations as needed, with clear emphasis on delivering high-quality security assessments. Applicants should hold CHECK Team Leader status with currency, UKCSC PriCSP or higher, and substantial experience in reporting security

Qualifications

• Certified CHECK Team Leader in Infrastructure or Web App with 2+ years at this level.
• UK Cyber Security Council PriCSP (Principal Cyber Security Professional) or higher.
• Experience delivering and reporting IT security engagements.
• Strong knowledge of penetration testing frameworks and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver penetration testing engagements for CHECK team clients.
• Mentor junior consultants and coordinate QA before client delivery.
• Engage with Account Management in scoping, pre-engagement activities and client calls.
