Job summary

Clark Wood is recruiting for a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in East Bristol. The role suits a CTA qualified tax professional or someone nearing qualification with UK accountancy practice experience.

You will manage a portfolio of Personal and/or Corporate Tax clients, prepare and review tax returns, and provide tax planning and advisory support while assisting Partners with complex assignments.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified or nearing qualification.
• UK accountancy practice tax experience.
• Strong Personal Tax, Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax knowledge.
• Good technical and client management skills.
• Commercial and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Personal and/or Corporate Tax clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support.
• Assist Partners with complex tax assignments.
• Deal directly with clients and build strong relationships.
• Support junior members of the tax team.
