Job summary

Pro-Tax in the United Kingdom seeks a Tax Manager focused on advisory work to manage a portfolio of national clients and act as the main contact for tax queries.

You will mentor junior staff, develop technical knowledge with the wider team, and work closely with Partners on business development while benefiting from a flexible approach to work/life balance and a path toward Partner level.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of UK corporate tax on a technical level.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and leading teams.
• Ambitious, focused, and client-facing in advisory tax work.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients and serving as the main client contact for queries and tax matters.
• Training and leading a team of junior staff on client accounts and developing technical knowledge.
• Keeping up to date with local, national and international business and economic issues and discussing impacts with clients.
• Collaborating with Partners and Directors on business development to identify opportunities on existing and new clients.
• Developing internal relationships domestically and internationally to deliver client value.
