Job summary

Clark Wood are recruiting for a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in East Bristol.

The role would suit a CTA qualified tax professional or someone close to qualification, with UK accountancy practice tax experience. You will manage a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, provide planning and advisory support, and work with Partners in a collaborative, client‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified or nearing qualification.
• Previous UK accountancy practice tax experience.
• Strong Personal Tax, Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax knowledge.
• Good technical and client management skills.
• Commercial and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Personal and/or Corporate Tax clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support.
• Assist Partners with complex tax assignments.
• Deal directly with clients and build strong relationships.
• Support junior members of the tax team.

The role would suit a CTA qualified tax professional or someone close to qualification, with previous UK accountancy practice experience.

The Role

• Manage a portfolio of Personal and/or Corporate Tax clients
