Job summary

Zodiac Recruitment in Sheffield is seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer to lead design and delivery of projects from concept to completion for residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes across Yorkshire and the North West.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage client relationships, coordinate with architects and contractors, and attend site visits, with hybrid/flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE).
• Proven experience in a UK structural consultancy.
• Experience delivering projects in London.
• Strong technical background in steel, concrete, timber and masonry design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
• Act as Project Engineer and manage client relationships.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and external consultants.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
• Attend site visits and design meetings.
