Location: Hybrid role - Yorkshire/North East

Type: Permanent

We are seeking Planners to join a team based in the North East or Yorkshire offices.

As a Chartered Planner, you will be part of a busy planning team handling various planning applications for strategic and immediate projects.

Projects include energy infrastructure (solar, battery, wind, hydrogen), waste management, minerals, and commercial schemes.

The role offers responsibilities across the development process, including planning policy, land promotion, planning consultancy, development management, and project delivery.

You will coordinate and prepare planning applications and environmental impact assessments, develop relationships with clients, authorities, stakeholders, and communities.

Additional duties include managing sub-consultants, conducting site appraisals, and providing strategic planning advice to senior clients. You will work closely with other Chartered Planners and Landscape Architects to manage and deliver new projects.

The ideal candidate will be RTPI qualified with a planning degree or master's, have a strong knowledge of the planning system, and experience in energy, waste, minerals, commercial, and residential sectors.
