Do you want an integral role within a growing landscape team while working on a diverse portfolio of projects in the energy, transport, and regeneration sectors? Are you confident in supporting, briefing, and mentoring junior members of the team, and leading landscape planning elements of projects through all development stages? Are you comfortable preparing and giving landscape and visual evidence, or keen to add this capability to your skillset?

Job Description

Join Ramboll as our new Principal Landscape Planner and work with a team of experts dedicated to creating sustainable societies. You will be involved in delivering landscape planning packages across all project stages, leading meetings, mentoring juniors, and contributing to business development activities. Your role involves site visits, technical photography, and preparing landscape and visual evidence.

About You

  • A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
  • Experience advising on landscape planning, especially in renewable energy sectors
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Proficiency in IT packages like Microsoft Office, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Organized, with good workload management skills

Personal qualities include understanding other environmental and engineering disciplines, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and external organizations.
