Job summary

Lemon Drizzle Recruitment in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join a respected independent construction consultancy. You’ll take the commercial lead on healthcare projects, delivering pre- and post-contract QS services with autonomy.

You will work closely with Directors in a flat-structured firm, with opportunities to progress towards Associate Director as you manage projects and build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Chartered MRICS or workingtowards status.
• Experience within a construction consultancy environment.
• Confident delivering both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
• Ability to manage projects independently while building strong client relationships.
• Ambitious, commercially aware and aiming for long-term progression.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services on healthcare developments from inception to completion.
• Take the commercial lead on major healthcare projects and contribute to diverse future portfolios.
• Work alongside Directors in a flat-structured environment where ideas are heard and progression is possible.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure project progression with autonomy.

As demand continues to grow, they're now looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, close-knit consultancy where you'll work directly alongside the Directors, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects while enjoying genuine autonomy and influence.

Initially, you'll take the commercial lead on major healthcare developments, delivering both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services from project inception through to completion. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to work across an increasingly diverse project portfolio.
