Qualifications

  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI), completed Pathway to Chartership.
  • Experience in hard & soft landscape design with solid plant and construction knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.

  • Delivering various projects from small to medium size in different sectors.
  • Leading design, detailing, and specification of projects from inception to completion.
  • Communicating with clients and project team members at all times.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include

  • Delivering a variety of projects, from small to medium size, in different sectors, through all stages of a project.
  • Leading the design, detailing, specification, and coordination of projects from inception to completion.
  • Communicating with the client and all members of the project team at all times.
  • Organising necessary meetings and project reviews with input from Senior Landscape Architect.

About You

Our ideal Chartered Landscape Architect will have:

  • Degree and master's qualification in Landscape Architecture.
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI), having successfully completed the Pathway to Chartership (P2C) programme.
  • Experience in hard and soft landscape design, supported by good plant and construction knowledge and working knowledge of the British planning system.
  • Knowledge of forms of appointment and construction contracts.
  • Site experience.
  • Ability to use various computer software programmes relevant to role (AutoCad, Vectorworks, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup) and ability to produce accurate technical detailing.
  • Inquisitive nature, with a passion for design.
  • Ability to express your design ideas through hand drawings or rough sketching.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Team player, with the ability to work independently with at times, limited supervision.
