Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Chartered Financial Planner to join their team. The job involves meeting with clients and prospective clients to provide financial planning in line with company propositions, aiming to generate compliant initial and ongoing income for the firm.

You will take over a large client portfolio, so bringing your own clients is not necessary. The client operates out of two offices, near Kingston upon Thames and in Central London. Client meetings can be held at either location, so the ability to travel between the two is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• To comply with FCA rules and guidance, as well as Compliance and T&C procedures.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities using existing clients, company-provided leads, and self-generated opportunities.
• Handle client affairs with integrity and efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports with support from the ParaPlanning team.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, maximizing their potential, and inputting information into the CRM system promptly.
• Ensure all revenue targets are met and work is completed in a compliant manner, meeting quality standards.
• Adhere fully to the company's Private Client Proposition.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Respond to referrals within the agreed SLA to demonstrate team commitment.
• Maintain appropriate CPD.

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

• Research, analysis, interpretation, file preparation, and report writing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Experience working with professional introducers.
• Achievement of QCA Level 4 minimum – essential.
