Chartered Financial Planner to take equity stake in a business

North Kent based IFA firm - medium sized

Salary negotiable c.£100k plus benefits and equity

My client is an independent wealth planning firm based in North Kent, offering whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners across Sussex, Kent, and London. They manage client assets ranging from £150k to over £5m, providing advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections, and schemes like VCT & EIS. They have longstanding relationships with solicitor practices that refer business to them.

The Managing Director is creating a new role for a Chartered Financial Planner to manage existing clients and generate new business through networking, conferences, and building relationships with local businesses and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in an independent wealth planning firm, preferably Chartered or working towards Chartered status, with a proven track record of business development. The role includes dedicated admin and paraplanning support.
