Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Chartered Electrical Building Services Engineer to work on multi-disciplinary Infrastructure and Rail projects, including HS2, Network Rail and LU clients. You will contribute to energy efficient and sustainable electrical design within the MEP team.

The role reports to the Technical Director – MEP, involves problem solving, cross-discipline collaboration, and delivering from detail design through testing and handover, across hybrid offices and site

Qualifications

Problem solving skills.
Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environments
Chartered engineer status.
Electrical Building services experience in Rail or similar projects

Responsibilities

Working on multi-disciplinary Infrastructure / Rail projects.
Contribute to energy efficient and sustainable electrical design.
Collaborate with industry expert colleagues on various projects.
Engage across all sizes and stages of projects.
Work on Rail projects mainly with HS2, Network Rail and LU clients.
Be part of the MEP team comprising 70 members of all levels.
Work in a professional and supportive team, ensuring milestones are met.
Problem solving in a multi-disciplinary environment and support testing and handover.
Support detail design and take projects to final testing, commissioning and handover.
Role reports to Technical Director – MEP.
