S1jobs is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its Glasgow team. You will deliver professional and project surveying services across diverse sectors, guiding clients from inception to completion with expertise in building defects, maintenance, and compliance.

Ideally MRICS qualified with a Building Surveying degree, you will manage multiple projects, prepare technical reports, and build strong relationships with clients while working in a hybrid setup with ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or related field.
• MRICS chartered status desirable.
• Experience delivering professional and project surveying services.
• Strong report writing and communications skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.

Your new role

As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will undertake a varied role involving both professional and project-based surveying services across a broad range of sectors. You will work closely with clients, providing expert advice on building-related matters while managing projects from inception through to completion.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS qualified
• Previous experience delivering both professional and project surveying services
• Strong knowledge of building construction, defects and maintenance
• Experience acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment and construction projects
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships
• Full UK driving licence
