Job summary

Barnardo's is recruiting a Charity Stock Coordinator to join our Gifts in Kind (GIK) team. You will collect donated goods from business donors and transport them to Barnardo's stores across the region, ensuring stock reaches the right locations to maximise sales for vital funds.

The role involves driving, logistics, customer service and stock handling, with independence most of the day. You will communicate with donors, colleagues and store teams and maintain accurate records using Salesforce

Qualifications

• Must be well organised with strong time management skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and ability to drive to store locations.
• Physically able to perform manual handling of stock on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Collect donated goods from business donors and deliver to Barnardo's stores across the region.
• Plan efficient collection and delivery routes.
• Load and unload stock and handle stock safely.
• Use Salesforce CRM and other tech to manage schedules and records.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow transport policies.
• Build positive relationships with donors and store teams.
• Attend external meetings and training when required.
