Job summary

Cancer Research Wales in Caernarfon is seeking a store team member to deliver outstanding customer service and help run a busy charity shop.

Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will lead the team, maintain store standards, and promote the charity’s aims while building strong relationships with supporters.

You must hold a valid driving licence with access to a vehicle, be willing to cover other stores, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality customer service in retail or charity shop environments.
• Ability to lead volunteers and staff to achieve store standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with supporters.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Best in Town service through customer interaction.
• Lead the team by example and achieve great store standard.
• Build a positive reputation for providing excellent customer service
• Act as the store’s first point of contact, creating a positive, welcoming and professional impression and store environment.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Cancer Research Wales aims and objectives, service and culture.
• Endeavour to strengthen and promote the Cancer Research Wales brand.
• Hold a clean Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle
• Willingness to cover our other stores and where necessary travel by public transport
