Job summary

Action Together is seeking a Retail Operations Lead to manage day-to-day operations across three charity shops in the region. You will lead by example, supporting and developing a team of 5 Shop Assistants and volunteers across three sites, while overseeing retail administration and ensuring compliance with charity procedures.

You will work closely with the Board of Trustees to continually improve the retail operation, maximise income, and ensure high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail teams or supervising staff and volunteers.
• Experience using HR systems such as BrightHR for rotas and leave management.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the allocated charity shop.
• Lead and develop 5 shop assistants and volunteers across 3 sites.
• Oversee retail administration and ensure compliance with charity procedures.
• Maximise income and work with the Board of Trustees to improve retail operations.
