Job summary

Our client, a locally based Charity organisation, seeks an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for 6-12 weeks, around 24 hours, 3 days a week, with potential for the role to become permanent.

The role involves supporting the finance function for all entities within the charity, providing bookkeeping, financial accounting and administrative support for various trusts and subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial management and control in charities.
• Strong ability to communicate financial information clearly.
• Ability to work in a team and with Trustees.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and budgets for Director/Finance Committee.
• Handle payroll & pensions data and reports for staff.
• Support Company Secretary duties and regulatory compliance where needed.
