Genuine work-life balance

Imagine a job where:

  1. People of all backgrounds and ages, including those shifting careers aged 40-65, succeed.
  2. 80% of staff work 3 or 4 days per week.
  3. You can work hours between 9am to 7pm on weekdays and 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.
  4. Work hours vary weekly to accommodate personal commitments, with options to compress hours over two weeks.
  5. Most work within 30 minutes of home, with travel time included in your contract and a travel allowance.
  6. The company closes for at least a week over Christmas and New Year.
  7. Training is comprehensive, remote, and supported by ongoing coaching.

We prioritize supporting a healthy work-life balance, offering flexible local working and a culture that values your life outside work. This is a rewarding, worthwhile job.

We work for a great cause

Dementia is a major health and social challenge, with around 900,000 people affected in the UK. Many remain undiagnosed and face their struggles alone. The Alzheimer’s Society, with supporter help, is changing that.

They provide vital support, hold decision-makers accountable, and fund research to improve lives.

What is the role?

The role involves third-party fundraising on behalf of Alzheimer’s Society, employed by The Fundraising Partnership. You will engage local people at their homes, explaining what Alzheimer’s Society does, and asking them to support through regular donations.

How can you make a difference?

Successful fundraisers typically raise over £400,000 annually. With experience, you could raise over £2 million in five years, impacting lives significantly.

Open to all backgrounds

No prior sales or fundraising experience is necessary. We value conversational skills, integrity, and motivation. Many successful fundraisers come from diverse fields like retail, teaching, or management, and enjoy talking with people in everyday situations.
