Job summary

The work centres on individualised care, clinical leadership and high standards across the team, with deputising for the charge nurse when needed. It suits a senior staff nurse who wants to build leadership and people management experience. NMC registration and ongoing speciality development are essential.

Experience

• Demonstrable experience at senior staff nurse level (Band 5) in a relevant clinical setting
• Experience of mentoring, assessing and coaching

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent written communication, shown by minimal errors in the application

Nice to have

• BSc Nursing degree
• Previous experience at Band 6 level
