Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Charge Nurse for its 26-bed acute medical ward in Chelmsford. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality care, support staff development and work closely with the MDT to ensure the right treatment is provided at the right time.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Charge Nurse to join our team and gain some experience. We are a 26 bedded under 75's acute medical ward managing patients with complex medical needs.

You will have a sound clinical knowledge of the unique clinical needs of medical patients and a desire to deliver the right treatment in the right place at the right time.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will have an interest in developing your leadership style, people management expertise in conjunction with the HR team along with excellent inspiring communication skills.

You will be committed to leading by example, encouraging and empowering your team along with all members of the MDT to ensure consistently high standards of care are set and delivered.

Main duties of the job

£39,959 a year Per Annum (Pro Rata for Part Time)

Essential
