Job summary

Tesco Mobile seeks a senior security leader to define and execute a multi-year roadmap, aligning risk, regulatory requirements and technical challenges into scalable engineering solutions.

You will establish capabilities across vulnerability management, incident response, threat intelligence and research, lead high-performing teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive secure-by-design practices across the organisation, with hybrid office/remote working.

Qualifications

Job description

• Ability to define and execute a multi-year roadmap, translating business risk, regulatory requirements, and technical challenges into scalable engineering solutions.
• Establish a forward-looking capability across vulnerability management, incident response, threat intelligence, and research.
• An ambition to constantly learn new skills and develop knowledge, with a specific focus onmonitoring developments in frontier AI cyber capabilities
• Attention to detail andgreat communicationskills.
• Identify emerging threats, proactively building a fluid roadmap to protect TMUK
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against threats by keeping in mind that the systems must be secure by design.
• Define success metrics,using data to inform risk management strategy
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, while influencing senior stakeholders and driving adoption across engineering and business units
• Keen to cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation and bringing industry standards to everything we do.
• Shouldbe passionate about improving ways of working and best practices by understanding the customer.

• Project management experience, at an agileorganization.
• Proven record of integrating security features in the software development life cycle, integrating security by design & defaultin a complex environment.
• Have awareness and understanding of current cyber security threats,actorsand their techniques.
• Implemented AI agents, either internally or customer facing.
• Experience implementing engineering solutions that meet internal control frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Experience with security tooling & solutions e.g. SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability scanning, threat intelligence platforms.
• Knowledge of relevantsecurity & AI governanceframeworks andregulations, such asMitreATT&CK, NIST, TSA.
• Any relevantstudy or certifications, either formal or self-learning.
