  • Strong stakeholder management including senior executive engagement.
  • Experience managing project governance, risks, dependencies, budgets and reporting.
  • Ability to deliver multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Change Project Manager

Location: LONDON

About the Job you are considering: The Project Manager is responsible for defining, planning, and delivering business change initiatives that support the organization's strategic objectives. The role will own the content, direction, and successful execution of change projects, ensuring business outcomes are achieved through effective stakeholder engagement, governance, operational readiness, and end-to-end delivery management.

The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality change initiatives while ensuring compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:
Project Delivery & Execution
  • Take full accountability for the successful delivery and implementation of business and technology change projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria aligned to business outcomes.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, ensuring milestones and dependencies are clearly identified.
  • Ensure delivery is completed to agreed time, cost, scope, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Business Change Management
  • Partner with business stakeholders to establish clear project scope and business requirements.
  • Support the realization of business benefits through effective change planning and execution.
  • Lead business readiness activities, ensuring operational teams are prepared for change implementation.
  • Develop and coordinate communication, training, and adoption plans to support successful change outcomes.
  • Apply structured change management methodologies and best practices to drive user adoption and engagement.
Technology & Business Collaboration
  • Work closely with Technology project teams to deliver technology solutions that enable business objectives.
  • Coordinate business and technology activities to ensure successful end-to-end implementation.
  • Support testing, validation, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Drive pragmatic business and operational design solutions that maximize project benefits.
Your Skills:
Essential
  • Proven experience managing business and technology change projects within the Financial Services sector.
  • Strong experience delivering projects using both Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
  • Practical experience managing Agile sprint-based delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management principles, methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Experience leading business readiness, communication, training, and adoption activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including senior executive engagement.
  • Experience managing project governance, risks, dependencies, budgets, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Desirable
  • Experience within Banking, Consumer Finance, Automotive Finance, or Financial Services organizations.
  • Exposure to regulatory change, compliance initiatives, or operational transformation programs.
  • Professional Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum Master, or equivalent).
  • Change Management certification (Prosci, APMG Change Management, or equivalent).
