Job summary

Sizewell C Limited, via the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), is recruiting a Change Manager to lead project controls across the Civils Programme. You will implement the change strategy, manage scope, time and cost, and ensure adherence to NEC4 and the APM framework, embedding safety and quality throughout delivery.

Reporting to the Head of Project Controls, you will build dashboards, develop reports, and coordinate with client teams to maintain program integrity, cost control, and risk management

Qualifications

• Lead project controls across Civils Programme with NEC4 alignment.
• APM PMQ or equivalent qualification required or preferred.
• Expertise in contract, cost and EVM systems (PRISM, Unifier, InEight).

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and governance of the Change Management process across the CWA.
• Manage complete lifecycle of change from directions to compensation events and contingency plans.
• Coordinate interrelated changes to maintain program and cost integrity.
• Configure and leverage Oracle Primavera Unifier to track, report and manage all change activities.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility of change performance and trends.
• Support strategic decision-making by integrating cost, time, risk and contract constraints.
• Champion HSE and Nuclear Safety in change decisions.
• Promote Digital Engineering tools linking BIM data with schedule and budget.
• Build trusted client relationships and drive capability development.

Change Manager Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low‑carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.This role will be within theCWA Wide Section.

What will you do?

This role is to provide leadership to the project controlsacrossthe CWA to ensure the effective delivery of the entire Civils Programme of SZC while recognising and influencing the programme's impactson themore comprehensiveProject.

TheChangeManager’srole is toimplementthe strategy, managing, and maintainingchangewithin the agreed constraintson one or more Sections of the project, includingchangeforprogramme,design,time and cost. This post will ensure that control is in accordance with all safety, quality, time, and cost parameters to meet the project's needsfor change, ensure it is implemented and track the changes within the project.

The role focuses on the management ofconstruction basedchange, including design, technical, scope,time and cost changes in line with NEC4 and the APM aligned change framework.

TheChange Managerreportsdirectly into the Head of Project Controls, as part of the CWA wide PMO.

What you'll be responsible for

• Lead the delivery and governance of the Change Management process across the CWA, ensuring compliance and consistency
• Manage the complete lifecycle of change – from SZC directions and instructions through to compensation events, recovery plans and contingency drawdowns
• Coordinate interrelated changes across sections to maintain program and cost integrity
• Configure and leverage Oracle Primavera Unifier to track, report and manage all change activities
• Develop dashboards, metrics and reporting tools that provide visibility of change performance and trends
• Support strategic decision-making by integrating cost, time, risk and contract constraints
• Champion HSE and Nuclear Safety as embedded principles in every change decision
• Promote Digital Engineering tools and processes, establishing integrated systems linking BIM data with schedule and budget
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with our Client (NNB and EDF), acting as a strategic advisor
• Develop high-performing teams and drive capability development
• Protect the integrity of the CWA's cost and program envelopes

What are we looking for?

Who you are

• A results-driven leader with at least 12-15 years leading project controls on complex, mega infrastructure projects for leading international tier 1 contractors
• Qualified to APM PMQ, APMG Project Planning and Control Practitioner level or equivalent (MRISC preferred)
• Expert in contract, cost and EVM systems including PRISM, Unifier and InEight
• Passionate about excellence – willing to go the extra mile and continually search for ways to add value
• A champion for HSE and Nuclear Safety who embeds these principles throughout your work
• A collaborative team player who shares knowledge and empowers others to deliver
