Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited has a 3-month contract for a Change Management Consultant to support Achieving for Children in transformation and workforce change. The role involves collaborating with senior leaders, Trade Unions, and People Services to ensure compliant and effective change initiatives.

The position is based in Twickenham with 36 hours per week, 2 days in the office (Twickenham, Kingston, Maidenhead). DBS check is required and interviews are scheduled for 11/09/2026.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in leading complex organizational change and workforce transformation.
• Experience in redundancy, redeployment, and consultation processes.
• Strong capability in organizational design and workforce planning.
• Experience collaborating with Trade Unions and employee representatives.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex organizational change programs, including restructures and workforce transformation.
• Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and change implementation.
• Assist managers in building business cases and change proposals aligned with goals.
• Ensure compliance with policies and employment legislation.
• Support service transformation initiatives in response to national reforms in Children’s Services, Education, SEND, and Family Services.
• Provide advice on employment law regarding consultation, redundancy, redeployment, and TUPE.
• Ensure statutory consultation and change procedures are followed.
