We are looking for a PMO Manager to join the Virgin Money Integration Programme, working within one or more of the workstreams supporting the delivery teams.
As a PMO Manager, you’ll monitor and analyze investment-funded change delivery, including tracking funded outcomes and milestones. You will undertake Value Stream/Strategic Programme quality assurance reviews using tools and your in-depth knowledge to make insightful recommendations that could impact the health or effectiveness of the delivery, and see them through to conclusion.
While your role will be aligned with the Virgin Money Integration, you will also be an active member of the PMO Practice, which drives consistency and improvement across all PMO Services at Nationwide, shaping a community of practitioners sharing best practices, supporting personal development, and networking across Nationwide functions.
Flexible working options are available to support your performance, with working hours between 30 and 35 hours per week.
Our hybrid working model allows colleagues to work from home and in-office, with at least two days per week, or 40% of your time if part-time, based at our offices in Swindon, London, Bournemouth, or Northampton. Internal applicants from other locations are encouraged to apply, and further details will be provided if successful. More about our hybrid approach can be found here.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
If based outside Swindon or London, attendance at ad hoc meetings or workshops at these locations is expected roughly once a month.
High application volume may lead to early closing of the advert, so apply promptly.
What you’ll be doing:
You will work closely with Leadership, Delivery Leads, and Product Owners to develop and mature performance metrics, analyze data for insights, identify risks, dependencies, and impediments, and support faster, cost-effective delivery.
You will translate complex data into management information, providing options and solutions for decision-making and prioritization.
You will design governance approaches, conduct assurance reviews, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
As part of the PMO Practice, you will drive efficiencies and suggest continuous improvements to promote best practices across change delivery at Nationwide.
