Job Description

We are looking for a PMO Manager to join the Virgin Money Integration Programme, working within one or more of the workstreams supporting the delivery teams.

As a PMO Manager, you’ll monitor and analyze investment-funded change delivery, track funded outcomes and milestones, and undertake quality assurance reviews using tools and in-depth knowledge to make insightful recommendations that may impact project health or effectiveness.

You will be an active member of the PMO Practice, which drives consistency and improvement across all PMO services at Nationwide, supporting personal development and networking among PMO colleagues.

We offer flexible working arrangements, with working hours between 30 and 35 hours per week, and a hybrid work model combining office and remote work. The role is primarily based at our offices in Swindon, London, Bournemouth, or Northampton, with some travel to other locations as needed.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. Internal applicants from other locations may be considered, with further details provided by the hiring manager.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the creation and maturation of performance metrics, providing analytical insights to identify dependencies, risks, and resolution pathways.
  • Lead data analysis and turn insights into management information for stakeholders, supporting decision-making and prioritization.
  • Design and implement governance approaches, complete assurance reviews, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement across change delivery functions at Nationwide.
About You
  • Experience in Change delivery or PMO roles within transformation environments, especially in digital or technical spaces.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, and experienced with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of risk management and control standards.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
