Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting are exclusively engaged by a rapidly growing renewables business to appoint a CFO in Plymouth. This board-level role offers strategic leadership, strong investor engagement and a track record of delivering robust financial performance.

You will lead capital management, funding options and reporting, work closely with the CEO and executives, and shape the financial future of a high-growth company backed by Series-B funding and ambitious plans.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with proven CFO-level experience.
• Experience delivering strategic financial management at board level.
• Advantageous to have renewables sector exposure and IPO experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality strategic leadership with the board, ensuring financial health.
• Take full capital management, funding options and strategic partnerships.
• Lead on capital raising initiatives to support growth.
• Develop and maintain investor relations and communications with stakeholders.
• Lead on CLN's and other financial instruments as appropriate.
• Ensure sound financial reporting and compliance across the group.
• Develop FP&A systems, budgets, forecasts and internal controls.
• Implement robust risk management and financial planning processes.
