The role requires a seasoned CFO/FD with strong governance, financial modelling, and reporting capabilities to support a fast-growing, FCA-regulated consumer finance business. A hands-on leader will build the team and systems as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with broad experience leading a finance function.
• Strong investor management skills.
• Excellent modelling, scenario analysis, and management reporting.
• Experience in a regulated business with governance and audit.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on leader.
• Claims management or fintech payments background valuable.

Responsibilities

• Own financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, reporting, and controls.
• Manage investor relationships and communicate performance.
• Deliver management information on performance, risks, cash, and opportunities.
• Develop financial models to assess claims outcomes and timing.
• Oversee controls across high-volume payments and support automation.
• Ensure client money processes meet requirements and liaise with auditors.
• Develop finance team, systems, and processes for growth.
