We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented CFO to lead our dynamic finance team. This is a strategic position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will be a skilled financial professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment. A critical aspect of this role is the ability to leverage data analytics and technology, specifically Power BI and Microsoft data warehouse, to provide insightful financial reporting and drive informed business decisions.

Responsibilities - Management

• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
• Oversee all aspects of the financial accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Oversee month-end closing procedures and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Analyse financial data and prepare detailed reports for management, including variance analysis, profitability statements, and cash flow forecasts.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting, FP&A and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities - Strategic Planning and Analysis

• Leverage Power BI and Azure Cube/MS Data warehouse to improve the quality and speed reporting cycle.
• Utilise Power BI and Microsoft data warehouse to create insightful financial dashboards and reports.
• Partner with business unit leaders to develop and analyse financial models and budgets.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies.
• Manage financial risk by analysing potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities - Systems and Technology

• Lead the optimisation of our Microsoft data warehouse for financial reporting and analysis.
• Expertise in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making
• Utilise and maintain the company's ERP system (Microsoft Business Central 365) for accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Stay current on the latest financial technology trends and identify opportunities for system improvement.

Responsibilities - Leadership and Development

• Provide guidance and support to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Identify and recommend training opportunities for the financial team to stay current with best practices.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement performance management processes.Attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a progressive or similar role.
• Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in a fast-paced, ideally e-commerce or healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proven experience in managing all aspects of the financial accounting cycle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Business Central 365 or Navision.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools, ideally Power BI.
• Experience with e-commerce accounting principles and transaction management.
