Job summary

Van Elle is the UK’s leading geotechnical contractor seeking a Site Supervisor (CFA Piling) to join its Housing Division for Derby/Doncaster projects. You will coordinate works, supervise on-site teams and ensure safety and quality across piling operations.

We require CFA piling experience, SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications, and the ability to travel UK-wide. You will report on site progress, maintain records, and promote Van Elle values. Permanent role with benefits and training.

Qualifications

• Proven relevant experience in construction, as well as appropriate health and safety training.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Experience in operating Soilmec piling rigs.
• Strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business.
• Proven experience of working to tight deadlines with an ability to prioritise.
• Flexibility to travel around the UK and hold a full, clean driving licence that is valid in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate works to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Complete and maintain detailed and accurate site reports.
• Take overall responsibility for health and safety on site.
• Ensure that near misses, accidents, incidents and other safety concerns are promptly reported at the appropriate level.
• Conduct daily briefings prior to starting activity and brief the team on method statements and risk assessments relating to the project.
• Monitor and support high performance of individual team members and maintain high levels of work quality.
• Conduct self in a way that reflects and promotes Van Elle company values.
