Job summary

Imerys is seeking a laboratory-focused professional to support quality control testing of raw materials and finished goods. You will collect samples, enter results in the LIMS system and advise production on material specifications to ensure product quality.

This role emphasizes accurate reporting, adherence to ISO quality standards, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience in ceramics or industrial materials.
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Experience using LIMS or ERP systems (SAP desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine Quality Control test methods on raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods.
• Collect production samples in a timely manner to support product release.
• Enter samples and report results using the LIMS database.
• Identify, troubleshoot and escalate any issues affecting test accuracy or sample integrity.
